Dear Partners in Prayer,
It is once again a privilege to share with you about our lives and ministry. We are so thankful that the Lord has raised up you, our mighty team or prayer warriors, in order to see God glorified in Moravia(Eastern Czech Republic).

September was a month of both great relaxation and ministry. We were able to go to Croatia for 3 weeks. There we spent time; we had 13 days of a great vacation on the Adriatic Sea, visited with friends and did nothing but hunt for crabs, shells, fish, clams… We also spent an entire week with 30 Czech students from Brno and Austria. This was an awesome time to hang with teens from 15-17 basically 24 hours a day. Steve led 3 English sessions per day covering a wide range of topics. We were able to take a 5 hour boat ride around the island of Brac which was amazing. If any of you are ever looking for a place to go on vacation, we suggest Croatia!!!

Even though we had a great time in Croatia we were ready to get home by the end of it all.

Pray for all 30 of the students who had an opportunity to hear that God exists, loves them, and there is hope and forgiveness in the cross of Christ. Many students believe(d) that the story of Jesus Christ is nothing more than a myth or a fable. They had never heard of God’s grace before in their entire lives.

Please be in prayer for “K”. He is a 17 year old boy that Steve has known for about 6 months now. They have met one-on-one several times, and they have a great relationship. He has gone from being a professing atheist to telling Steve at the camp that he must read and understand the Bible. Pray for his friend, “M”, as well.

We are kicking our Bible group back up this coming Sunday(October, 8th). Pray that God would draw those we invite to Himself and to our group.

Pray for Michal and Jiri who has been meeting with us weekly for Bible Study in Sidlište-Vinohrady. Pray the Lord would draw Michal to himself and growth for Jiri. The students at the English camp are from Sidlište-Vinohrady. Pray that some of those students would attend our group.

October 13th we have our first interview with a psychologist as we move a step closer to adopting a baby. Pray for this time!

We will be heading to Budapest, Hungary for a 3rd opinion for Chloe. Please pray for all of us during this time. Pray for the doctor that we will be seeing as well.

You know we’ve seen quite a large number of people show an interest in joining our Bible group, exploring the Bible, and becoming followers of Jesus Christ. Pray the Lord would open the hearts of those who hear what we are saying. Pray we would be bold and share the gospel clearly as we should!

But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God, who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God. John 1: 12+13

We thank you and love you all!
Steve, April, Chloe, Vance, and Sophie
